Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE SEPT 15 - Yahzee is still waiting for a home in the shelter and they are really surprised, as they tell everyone who comes in that he's the best dog there! Yahzee has had a health scare there with some pancreatic problems but this has resolved itself and he's ready to be found by his future family. Yahzee is very well-behaved, a nice medium size, and mature enough to be calm and settled in the home. He appears to have been a backyard dog previously simply due to how he will bark at anything interesting - cars, people, bikes. It's not intense and something that would probably resolve quickly in a home environment where he's not bored and alone. If you're interested in a great pal, drop us a line about Yahzee.
Yahzee and Zoie were picked up stray together and we're listing them as a courtesy to the shelter that is housing them. Alternatively, we can accept applications and place them through Barlee's Angels.
Yahzee is a young male Rottweiler cross who is friendly and easygoing. These two are bonded and while they can be split up, it would be so nice to be able to place them together. Zoie appears somewhat dependent on Yahzee, as per our shelter contact. Both bark at people from behind a fenced but this seems to be a learned behavior, consistent with dogs who have spent a lot of time outdoors and picked this up as a habit from boredom. If this is the case, it should be easy to unlearn this behavior, especially if they're housepets who receive proper stimulation.
This pair do need some remedial manners/obedience but don't take that to mean they're not well-behaved! They are both gentle and friendly, but have most likely been outdoor dogs with little structure. Yahzee was already neutered when picked up.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE UPDATE OUR SITE AS OFTEN AS WE CAN. INFORMATION IS POSTED AS IT COMES TO US. IF THIS DOG IS LISTED, IT IS AVAILABLE, THOUGH WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AND ANY DOG'S STATUS CAN CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
