My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wendy! Wendy is an sweet, quiet girl who has overcome a lot in her 4 months of life from being trapped in a storm drain to fighting off a tough virus! She is thriving in his foster home and ready for her forever. She hopes her future home has lots of treats and fluffy beds!

PLEASE NOTE: Wendy is an active kitten and will need another cat in the home to play with. If you don't have any other cats at home, ask us about adopting a pair or our other kittens. His littermates are: Prince and Dez

If Wendy sounds like she would make a great new family member, email us at orphanedkittycorner@gmail.com or fill out an application at orphanedkittycorner.org/adopt.

More about this rescue

Orphaned-Kitty Corner has a mission to keep kittens out of local shelters by creating a community of people dedicated to improving the lives and welfare of kittens through innovative care and education programs. We provide advanced care to neonatal and weaned kittens at our headquarters in Danville, IL, and in our foster homes.

Our goal is to keep kittens out of animal shelters and animal control facilities where there may be fewer resources to care for this vulnerable population. We provide advanced and round-the-clock care, ensuring that each kitten is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given preventatives prior to being adopted.

We are proud to collaborate with our community and several public and private shelters in Illinois to give kittens the best chance at a healthy beginning.

Orphaned Kitty-Corner is a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization.
