Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JoJo is the sweetest girl who is two years young! She came to our rescue group with a litter of puppies; now they have all been adopted, and it is her turn to find a great forever home. She's energetic, playful, and loves to show her affection. She loves her daily walks; she does a happy dance, rushes to the door, and sits for her leash. She's athletic and enjoys running alongside her human foster brother on his skateboard. She's very well-behaved and listens to commands. She's fully house- and crate-trained.
JoJo loves her humans and gets along well with other dogs. She is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention and receive all the love she deserves. She is an absolute gem and you will be charmed by her loving nature. She can't wait to meet you and be your best friend!
Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center. We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application.
Thanks for thinking adoption!

CATS and KITTENS: Our adoptable cats & kittens are at the Luv-A-Pet Centers at PetSmart, White Oak in Garner and in PetSmart Goldsboro).
Cats can be seen during regular store hours by asking a manager or by appointment with JCAPL. On Saturdays between 10am and 2pm, JCAPL volunteers bring additional cats and kittens to the Luv-A-Pet Center at the Garner location.
We do rotate our cats and kittens regularly so if you see a cat or kitten online, but do not see them at Petsmart, they are most likely taking a break at their foster home. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about the adoption status of a specific cat or kitten.
DOGS and PUPPIES can be seen at the PetSmart at White Oak Shopping Center from 11:00 am until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays, or by appointment with individual foster homes.

More about this rescue
We are the Johnston County Animal Protection League (JCAPL). We are a 501 (c)(3) non profit, founded in 2001.
Our primary function and purpose is animal advocacy and to promote animal welfare, in all its aspects.
We do rescue and adoptions, outreach (providing low cost spay/neuter); and education.
We are unpaid volunteers, but we continue to try and fill the void wherever we see the need, and we do it because the need is great and the animals are innocent in all the crimes and abuses against them.
