Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maize is a 1.5 year old Wheaton Terrier mix who was surrendered by her owner to the vet with her housemate pictured with her named O'Malley. They are best of friends and Mazie would do best in a home where she has a confident housemate to welcome here.
Maize can be shy when meeting new people or when in new situations, she came from an abusive situation where a gentle hand and soft voice were not the norm for her. She deserves better, she was fostered in Missouri and did well in a home with various dog breeds, sizes and ages. Her foster Mom is a single woman and Mazie took to her immediately after leaving the shelter.
Mazie walks well on a leash, is potty trained, and crate trained, she will need formal training for obedience. Mazie would thrive in a laid back home where she is given time to adjust and blossom.
In submitting an application off our website at www.K9EI.dog, if approved you will receive a telephone call interview and a time will be set to meet her. You can follow our Facebook page for event dates and an opportunity to meet Mazie. www.facebook.com/K9EI4LIFE
