2013 Thoroughbred Mare, 15.0h

Spa Day is a beautiful, stocky, unraced Thoroughbred. So far, she seems cool, calm, and collected with everything that we have thrown at her. She is very friendly, barefoot, and an easy keeper. She is limited to flat work only due to poor conformation in her front limbs but is otherwise sound to go in any direction. She is entering our training program and will be started from the ground up. She would make a fantastic project for a trainer-type home to bring along.

Total price includes: Adoption Fee ($2,000) + Deposit ($500)* = $2,500

*At KYEAC, we require adopters to complete an inspection on the adopted horse 6 and 12 months following adoption. To ensure adopters comply with their inspections, a $250 deposit is required on all horses priced under $1,000 and a $500 deposit is required on all horses priced over $1,000. This deposit is already calculated into the adoption fee. If the adopter complies with the inspections, this deposit will be fully refunded after the requirements of the 6 and 12-month inspection have been met to our satisfaction. If the adopter does not comply with their inspections, their deposit will be forfeited.
