Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JR was rescued from the dog pound. JR is available for either in-state adoption or adoption and transport to another state.
We think that JR is a Dachshund/Rat terrier mix. He is around 1 year of age and weighs 17 pounds. JR is a good boy, he is very sweet, loving, and affectionate to his human. He loves to cuddle and get pets. JR should either be an only dog or paired with a female. He will play with other dogs but does best with females. He does not do well with unaltered males. JR is crate-trained. He sleeps in a crate at night and is crated when his foster has to leave the house. JR is not completely house-trained and he will wear a male wrap - although he sometimes gets it off - normally with the help of one of the other dogs. He is still young and needs general obedience training. He is trainable, learns quickly, and is well-behaved in the house. JR must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play.
JR is healthy. He is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. JR has a $200 in-state adoption fee. His $450 out-of-state adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport, and he can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. JR is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this adorable little guy.
