My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** COURTESY POST **

** This animal is NOT at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, so please do not inquire with them **

** For information contact Aaron -  aarondominguez50@gmail.com  - (469-559-4356)  **

We adopted a sweet 2yr mixed breed from the Garland shelter two months ago, but our resident dogs (5yr and 1yr) don't like her (seemingly due to her size). We've had to keep her separated from them, and we also have a senior in the house, so we've come to the conclusion that Harley simply can't fit in here with her size and energy.

Her bio:
Harley is around 2 years old and 60lb. She's housebroken and does well on and off-leash, not a single accident in our house. She sleeps in the kid's rooms and loves to play fetch with hard toys and bones. Harley likes to initiate play, but some smaller dogs or children may be intimidated by her size.

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
