My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HARLEY is a big girl who is a "senior" gal (shhh we can't say that around her!). HARLEY is house-trained, walks fairly well on a leash and is a pretty laid-back girl. HARLEY isn't a huge fan of sharing her toys with her doggy roommates. She appears to be anxious around larger dogs, but does fine with little ones.

HARLEY is intelligent and is learning from her dog roommates and her foster mom. She is affectionate and really loves her humans. HARLEY would benefit from being in a home with experienced dog owner!

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
