My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tommie is 2 years old and weighs 75 pounds.

He is already neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175. Tommie is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.

Unchained is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to finding responsible, loving FOREVER homes that are committed to giving these dogs the wonderful life they deserve.

Our dogs are placed in foster homes and are part of our families. We work on basic obedience training, crate-training, and socialization as much as each foster home is able. The dog's behavior is thoroughly evaluated and we have a firm sense of their temperament and personality. Each dog is given lots of love and treats!


UPDATE 6/21/10: Tommie is in a foster home with kids, cats, and other dogs and is doing very well. He appears housetrained, is not a jumper, and does not chew much. He prefers to be where people are, because of this he is not a big fan of a kennel. He is quiet once he is in but getting him in can be a chore. His foster home has set him up in his own room where he can stay when no one is home. He does very well with this. So he should transition to a new home fairly easily. Tommie is the type of dog that would like to sleep in your room at night. He walks well on a leash but does walk at a fast pace. He looks like a staffordshire terrier but is taller like an American Bulldog. Tommie would love to fill your home with all the love he has to give!!!
