My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Winky! I am a gentle gal who prefers a quiet environment where my personality can really shine! I am a cat who needs patience at first because I am definitely shy and timid so I would be really good with someone who spends a lot of time at home. This gives me the time and space to become accustomed to your presence and learn that you aren't interested in eating me! With time, I promise that with time I can warm up to you and your home!
I enjoy afternoon catnip and gentle pets, but I also really love treats, especially the tube treats with either the salmon or tuna flavors! You can help me be comfortable with my surroundings and even coax me into warming up to new places with them.
Once I am more comfortable in your home, I am a silly cat who loves to chase things when thrown and gets the zoomies at least once a day. I love scratching things and having designated sitting areas like window sills, chairs, even folded blankets on beds and couches where I can loaf. I also have a raspy voice despite my age, and will talk and paw at you for attention.
Once I have warmed up to you, I really am a cuddly, playful lady and I want to be around you laying at your feet or on your desk, and I will follow you around and give you my heart!
