Simon is a volunteer favorite, and it's easy to see why!

This charming husky has a playful spirit and a lovable personality that endears him to everyone he meets. Whether he's strutting his stuff on a walk or riding in the car, Simon is always ready for an adventure. He's great on a leash, making walks a joy, and he loves to play ball, often doing a cute little hop in his walk that never fails to bring a smile to your face.

Cat-free home
Understanding of house training needs: We need a family willing to use a pee wrap and work with a trainer, for whom we will give you a scholarship.

No other huskies, but has been happily interacting with other breeds.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
