ABOUT ELMIRA
Elmira will steal your heart away with one meow! She is a 6 year old mature beauty with a kitten heart. Elmira came to HAP when she was found as a stray, but it was clear this girl has lived in a home and is socialized with people. She demands pets from her besties, but is just as fine to walk away when your about to give her some. She loves to play and talk and follow you around. She loves her naps and snacks. Elmira is fairly tolerant of being handled, held, and snuggled. She will use her big girl voice paired with a love tap to let you know if you've crossed her boundaries too far, though this is rare. She has so much life left in her, begging to find her forever home.
If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
