Meet Monica, our beautiful seven-year-old girl! This little lady came to HAP as a stray momma. She's a very adventurous lady and will need a home that can safely let her spend time inside and outside.
Monica has spent time in foster and was adopted from us, but her current owner didn't feel like the neighborhood was a safe one for Monica's wandering ways.
Monica has a great personality and loves being with people. She will keep you entertained and give you snuggles when she finally stops exploring. She enjoys being with people and spending time indoors.
Monica will dash through doors as quick as a flash and seems to enjoy spending time outside as well. Her owner said that she would stay close to home but then began to explore a little too far out of their cul-de-sac.
We will be reviewing applications for Monica to ensure that her new home is located somewhere where she can explore safely. She should not be in a home that can present a danger by cars or traffic. Monica would make a wonderful working cat for a small farm or business that would like an outdoor cat that will also bring them affection and love.
**Monica has been diagnosed with very early-stage kidney disease. While this can shorten her lifespan, we have no reason to believe she doesn't have many, many more years left in her! She is currently being treated with a special diet and managed by yearly vet visits.
If you are interested in adopting Monica, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Our adoption process is designed to help you and your family find the perfect match in a pet. When the right match is made, we strive to conduct our adoptions thoughtfully, transparently, and with the utmost respect. You can view and submit an adoption questionnaire online ahead of your visit by going to our website: humaneanimalpartners.org. A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.
