Meet nine month old Holly, Holly was born at an Amish puppy mill in Indiana. She had a heart murmur so she could not be sold to a pet store. So she was sold "cheap" to to a local family. The family did their best to care for her but had very little money, no dog experience and the advice they were given was not the best.
When Holly arrived to Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue she was very sick and thin. She had such bad diarrhea she had to be hospitalized. She is now on the mend and putting on some weight. She has tarter on her teeth that we will have cleaned when she is out for her spay. She also no longer has a heart murmur.
Holly does well with other dogs but needs some time to warm up. She was raised with kids six and over.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application and reference/home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional info on any of the dogs in this region, please email Pam@ddbrescue.org
