Joey has been with us 2 YEARS! He is officially our LONGEST TIMER and it's TIME HE FINDS HIS HOME!!
Joey is a loving and playful boy.
He definitely has some Coonhound or Pointer mix in him and does great on a leash! He walks like a dream
He will be the best ride or die to join you on adventures and trails!
Joey is also super affectionate and cuddly.
He loves joining you on the couch for some TV!
Joey listens and takes correction well. He knows basic commands like sit, shake, down, and stay.
Joey LOVES splashing around in the water.
He does well at home on his own when needed. He does not need to be entertained 24/7.
He is approx 3.5 years old, 60 lbs, and ready to share his entire life with you!

More about this rescue
We are a group of volunteers that have worked in the rescue community in AZ for many years and are coming together to help fill a void in our rescue community. We care as much about the people as well as the dogs and want to keep giving each paw a hand until the shelters are empty. We will also provide resources for our community for people to try and keep their pet rather than surrendering them. We want to find the right fit for the people by taking a dog out of the shelter rather than making a dog fit for the people.
