Pom is da bomb! Just look at that puppy-dog face! What a cutie!!! This 3-year old, 25-pound Dachshund mix doesn’t have a mean bone in his soft furry body and he’s ready to begin life anew!

Having recently been rescued from a hoarding situation, Pom is just now starting to come out of his shell. Despite his unfortunate past, you can see the warmth in his eyes and the love in his heart. Although shy and reserved at the moment, Pom is lovely and polite toward everyone he meets, including children and other dogs. This brave boy is slowly learning how to be unafraid…and it’s a beautiful thing to watch his progress!

Pom is comfortable in his crate, he loves his dog bed, he tolerates having his nails trimmed, and he doesn’t mind being bathed. He has been practicing walking on a leash in the backyard and is doing very nicely with it. Clearly, Pom is a super smart fella capable of learning many new things.

If there were ever a dog who deserved a second chance, Pom is the one. He is sweet, affectionate, kind-hearted, resilient and forgiving. If you put in the time, he’ll give you his soul!
