Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dorothy!
Dorothy is a tender-hearted middle-aged gal with a penchant for warm cuddles and cozy naps right next to you. Her gentle demeanor and love for affection make her the perfect companion for those looking for a true friend to cherish. She also boasts a beautiful coat that, with occasional grooming, will always remain in tip-top shape.
While Dorothy might be missing her teeth, that doesn't stop her from enjoying her meals. She thrives on wet food, and occasionally indulges in some dry kibbles, proving that you don't need teeth to enjoy a good meal. Plus, with her impeccable pee pad training, she's a breeze to care for indoors.
Got a little canine at home? Dorothy gracefully gets along with smaller dog buddies, so she's sure to fit right in. We haven't seen her with cats or larger dogs, so a home without them or a slow introduction might be best.
In essence, Dorothy is the epitome of mild-mannered sweetness. More than anything, she's on the lookout for a forever home where she'll be enveloped in love. If you're looking for a loving, loyal, and laid-back friend, Dorothy might just be your girl!
Dorothy is part of our Senior Animal Wellness Program. Seniors that go through our program receive a thorough and comprehensive medical exam that includes x-rays, bloodwork (including heartworm and tick fever screen), urinalysis, fecal screen, dental health screen, vaccinations and spay/neuter. Medical records are available at adoption.
Edith's adoption fee is only $200, which is a bargain for a lifetime of love!
