Meet Eleanor Pitsby, a senior sweetheart with a heart as warm as her fur. At 7 years old, she's mastered the art of being a couch hippo, bringing joy with every snuggle. Eleanor's life is a tale of wagging tails and cozy naps, proving that age is just a number when it comes to spreading love. With a lifetime of wisdom in her eyes, this senior mom dog is a beacon of warmth and companionship.

Dog Mom for Eleanor Pitsby
Little humans never cease to amaze me. Cute little things, big eyes, bold wants, prattling high voices, little legs as wide as my paw. The leather of the couch sags as one plops herself next to me, sweet little thing, bright blue orbs for eyes and nails of smudged pink polish. I press my cold, wet nose to her hand and get a shrieking giggle.
"Eleanor! She laughs, shaking her hand as I offer her a lick and sleepy flick of my tail. We dogs don't smile the same way humans do, most of us don't anyhow, but even so young she seems to be able to know that a shake of my tail is about the same as her friend's giggles.
She reclines, back against the couch, head resting on my thigh as her mouth stretches wide in a yawn. Small hands tug the blanket from the back of the couch until we're both swaddled.
"I tired, she informs me, though I can tell that much, poor dear looks ready to drop. I press my nose to her neck, let her tiny hands run along my ears and back as a gentle sigh leaves her. My tail pats steadily against her leg until those beautiful eyes of her shut.
I find my eyes shutting too, head resting on my paws. All these years I've never found something I love more than this, being held, being scratched, and helping these little things settle before there poor Mama's rip out there hair chasing 'em. What more could an old dog want?
