Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
He LOVES laying next to us on the sofa! He claimed that spot pretty much right away.
Bennett seems to be completely unbothered by thunderstorms and fireworks!
Bennett sleeps in his crate beautifully He loves his kennel, eats in there, and goes in when he needs to "get away.
He's an adult, so you don't have to worry about him chewing on any of your shoes or furniture. He takes food from you like a proper gentleman and knows basic commands (sit, down, shake. Not so sure about stay - need to try that one). He LOVES treats and, especially the Himalayan yak cheese I give him to keep him occupied for a while.
His ears are both adorable and useful as no one is going to launch a sneak attack on you in your house. However, you're also not going to be able to watch Wheel of Fortune without putting it on mute because that bell is going to drive him (and you) nuts. I already had that issue with my own dog so I haven't watched WoF in years.
We are working on improving our leash manners and learning that not every dog we see is the devil. I've been training him with hot dogs and he's gotten MUCH better about paying attention to me and expecting the hot dogs while on walks. Somehow, we haven't really encountered other dogs on our walks, recently, but we did see LOTS of cats. I don't know for sure, but I would not classify Bennett as "cat-friendly. Just a feeling I get....
Bennett has come a long way and we're still doing work because I really want to find this sweetie his perfect family!!
