My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heather is a sweet girl who enjoys being on the highest point of her cat condo looking down at her surroundings of what is going on around her. She loves getting scratches and her purr is like a motor! Meet Heather today and fall in love!

Heather is eight years old.

Location: Foster home

Heather's adoption fee has been paid for by a generous donor. She is microchipped, spayed and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Heather, please call the shelter to schedule an appointment or complete an adoption application on our website.

More about this shelter

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
