My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Jake!

Jake is a seven-year-old handsome male tabby with a sweet and loving personality. Though he may take a bit of time to adjust to a new environment, once he feels at home, Jake transforms into a total lovebug. He adores being pet, giving head butts, and curling up on your lap. Jake is bonded with Jerry, a blind tuxedo cat, and their companionship is heartwarming. Jake enjoys catnip, treats, and lots of socialization and playtime. He will thrive in a patient and supportive home where his sweet nature can truly shine. He often acts as Jerrys "guide", its a very special relationship and amazing to be a pert of their world.

Jake has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and had preventative treatments to ensure he is healthy and ready for his next step. He has tested positive for FIV, a condition that is not communicable to humans.

To meet Jake and Jerry, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Please remember, pets cannot be held or reserved. Come by and see if Jake and Jerry are the perfect match for you!
