Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Phoebe is a female husky mix born in June of 2022. She initially presents as shy and timid, but once she feels safe, she is playful and very affectionate.
She’s good with dogs of all sizes. Cats are unknown. Her current foster home has chickens, and although she is curious, a firm "no" or "leave it" has kept her from chasing them. She is incredibly smart and learned kennel, sit and the dog door in just a few days.
Phoebe is crate trained and house broken. She loves her walks and is getting better on a leash. She will require a fully fenced yard and regular exercise.
She will do best in a home that will allow her time to settle in and who is willing to work on building her confidence with new people. A home with another canine companion would be most beneficial.

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
