Here's what the humans have to say about me:
April is a sweet and easy-going girl, already house trained and completely home acclimated. She has been in a home as a pet for several years, but must now find a new home because her owners are moving out of state and cannot take her with them. As you can see from her photos, she is in excellent condition and has been well cared for. April has lived in a home with small dogs and other greyhounds, and got along fine with all of them. She has also lived in a foster home with a cat. April walks quietly by your side while on a leash, rides fine in a car or SUV, and has excellent house manners. She has a little "sleep startle", meaning that she becomes frightened when she is touched while sleeping. Because small children do not know to leave her alone while she is sleeping, we recommend her for a home with older children (over the age of 5). April is a sweet, happy girl who will be a perfect companion for the family lucky enough to adopt her. April's $150 adoption fee includes her spay, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, microchip, leash and collar, adoption guide, stuffie toy, grooming mit, and an Adopt-a-Greyhound tote bag. For more information or to meet April, please contact us at 813/272-2332.
