My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet 11 month old BONDED siblings “Tick” and “Tock”!
Tick and Tock were found along the side of the Horace Harding Expressway in Queens. They are very friendly, talkative and playful. They are vaccinated, spayed & neutered and microchipped. Tick and Tock must be adopted as a bonded pair!
Like all animals adopted from the ANIMAL ADOPTION VETERINARY CENTER, Tick and Tock come with ONE YEAR TOTALLY FREE VETERINARY CARE for any illness, if one occurs in the first year, and FREE LIFETIME ANNUAL EXAMS at the LOW COST VET MOBILE!

More about this rescue

Companion Animal Network was founded by Garo Alexanian in 1989 out of a love for animals and out of frustration at the high euthansia rate of animals in the New York Metropolitan area. Since then Garo and Companion Animal Network have taken an active part in the animal rescue community by raising awareness both publically and politically and has rescued/adopted over 2000 animals.
In association with the Animal Care and Control of NYC and the Mayor's Alliance, Companion Animal Network created the "Safety Net" Program which assists pet owners with low-cost vet care, boarding, legal assistance and other solutions in helping owners keep their pets when faced with hardship situations.
