Here's what the humans have to say about me:
All he wants for Christmas is a home of his own. Can you help?
This sweet dog has overcome many obstacles already in his short life and he is a survivor! Lil Buddy was hit by a car and lived at a construction site from December til March in one of the coldest and wettest winters in NE GA! He survived with a broken pelvis as well as hip issues and eluded capture. In February animal control was finally alerted and it took three weeks to trap him! Once caught, he was very sweet and thankful but still remains an independent boy!
Lil Buddy had surgery on one hip but nothing more could be done to help as it has all healed. He is a bit stiff in his hind quarters but nothing a few supplements doesn't help!
Lil Buddy is about 18# and maybe 18-24 months old! He is house trained and walks on the leash. Buddy is shy and definitely a flight risk but loves other dogs and learns to love his people!
The construction guys who fed him gave him his name, and he is ready and willing to be your best buddy, He deserves the loving home he has missed for so long! He is precious and will make someone an awesome friend! Another dog and secure fenced yard are a plus!!! If you can offer Lil Buddy love and security and devotion then you just might be the one for our boy!
P. S. His breed mix is our best guess! But he is a cutie pie whatever he is!
