Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Teddy is a happy boy. He loves mealtime like any self respecting Labby! When he gets excited he does his "happy dance" basically tap-taps his front feet. While Teddy gets along well with other dogs he would do really well in an only dog house (or perhaps with an older dog). Mostly because he LOVES his humans. He will most certainly be a loyal companion. Teddy is very much a puppy. He needs consistent reminders and redirection. Working with a trainer is very much recommended. On this front....it is my observation that if Teddy were the only dog...this would be a help with his learning he would then flourish. Teddy has been studiously working on doggie manners. Teddy is a boy who loves his people. He wants to be the apple of his family's eye. While Teddy loves to play with other dogs (his foster family has two resident dogs) he would do better being the only dog. He is not destructive. He is crate trained. He is trusted in the house. Teddy is a medium energy dog. He loves to play fetch - that's his favorite activity. Teddy is easily distracted and has some anxiety however he is currently on medication that really helps to calm his mind and the cost is minimal (less than $10/mo). This has made a difference in Teddy's focus where it comes to training and manners. Teddy is very strong on the leash and can be dog reactive while on leash, so he will need a dog savvy strong human leader committed to continuing to work with him on leash skills and training success. Teddy would do best in a home with no young children or kitties. Teddy is a handsome and happy boy who just wants a family to give him all of the love and attention he deserves.
