My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Would you look at him? He sure looks like a purebred German Shepherd to us. Now for his story as we know it. He did have a home for close to a year, then he was re-homed to someone who lived 100 miles away, and somehow they lost him, and that’s how he ended up here. We thought we would be providing a safe spot for him while they came to pick him up, but they never called us back, and his original home, for whatever reason, could not take him back either. Oh, and did we mention he is a year and a half old? It’s clear that something happened to him, or maybe he was born with it, but his gait is a little off. He is taking two different medications and has had energy for days. He’s been wonderful with all of us, loves long walks and being outdoors. We think he is simply amazing! We do require visits here to our rescue in Agua Dulce, CA, and in-person home checks for all adoptions. You can see more of Shep on our Instagram page; @thebrittanyfoundation.
