Teensy weensy puppy alert! Tiny little Trinity is looking for her new home! Clover & Trinity came are sweet little sisters who came into rescue together. They are about 8 months old and Trinity weighs only 5 pounds. We are not sure of their breed mix - maybe chihuahua/yorkie/chinese crested mixes?? Who knows? Who cares? They are adorable!!
Clover and Trinity are typical puppies - full of energy, mischief and fun fun fun! They love to play and anything and everything is a toy. They will find just about any item and make a game of it. They are very very affectionate and love to be held and cuddled. They get along well with other small dogs but can get on the nerves of the older dogs with all that play and fun. Because they are so tiny, we will not place them with large dogs (nothing over 20 pounds). Older kids will be fine 13+. They are barky little dogs so be advised! It is controllable and they do stop when corrected. Both girls do not care to be in a crate and will voice their displeasure until they eventually settle down. They are working on their leash skills but have a fully fenced yard currently in their foster home so they will need more work on this skill. Housetraining is coming along - they love to be outside but also use potty pads. They are very small and we believe the cold weather will be hard on them so please understand they will likely need another option to potty.
The girls do not have to be adopted together but can be - they love each other very much!
Sweet Trinity! She is feisty and fun and full of mischief! She loves people, toys and getting into trouble! Trinity came to us with a healed fracture of her front right paw, on the wrist. She will occasionally favor it and hold it up. But it does not hold her back - she can run, play and do anything! She has seen our vet and there is nothing that can be done - due to her size and the location, if any surgery happened it would likely do more damage. At some point, she will need supplements to help prolong arthritis but nothing right now.
Trinity is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $475 but will be lowered to $450 if adopted with Clover!
