Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bette is a pretty, petite 1 year old Dudley lab weighing in at only 55 pounds. The shelter called SCLRR because there were completely full and needed to make some tough decisions. SCLRR took one look at this pretty lady and couldn't say no!
A very social lady, Bette loves to play with children and dogs of all sizes. She enjoys car rides, and will jump in right away. Her foster mom says she's pretty high energy, but after some good exercise she calms down nicely. She even enjoys a bit of play with our dog savvy cat! Bette is still learning her leash manners, - she pulls and zig zags - but she is eager to please and a quick learner.
Bette is completely housebroken and non-destructive. At home she loves to cuddle on the sofa (and even the bed if her new family will let her!). She is a bit of a counter surfer, and when she's super excited she sometimes jumps on people, so maybe no small children.
Bette will fit in well with another dog to play with, or she could enjoy all the attention as an only dog. She definitely loves her people including children! Like most 1 year old labs, we recommend some formal training to make Bette the best girl ever.
Bette is a fun-loving dog - she is an intelligent, loving, happy girl that will keep you on your toes and smiling! If you are interested in meeting Bette, please contact your family representative.
If you are interested in making this Lab part of your family, please contact your SCLRR family representative. If you have not yet applied with us, please submit an online application to adopt; an SCLRR volunteer will then contact you. Please note that your homecheck must be approved in order for you to be put in touch with the dog's foster home
