Introducing Charliegh, our beautiful Chihuahua, who has shown strength beyond her tender age of just six months. Saved from a critical condition, Charleigh was surrendered to our rescue center along with her five siblings. Unfortunately, the litter was afflicted with the dreaded parvovirus, which claimed the life of one of the puppies soon after their rescue.
Our team, undeterred by the challenge, immediately sprang into action, providing intensive vet care to save the remaining litter. Charleigh - her spirit as strong as her will to live, emerged victorious from this battle, proving that there is indeed a silver lining to every cloud.
It’s been three months since the rescue, and Charleigh is now enjoying life in sunny Lakewood, California, under the care of her loving foster family. She has regained her health and is now vaccinated, microchipped, and scheduled for her Spay surgery. As she approaches her sixth month, Charleigh is ready to embark on the next phase of her journey: finding her forever home.
Charliegh’s heartwarming story is a confirmation of her strength and love for life. Despite her early struggles, she remains an incredibly affectionate and playful pup, especially with other small dogs. Her warm-hearted demeanor and energetic personality would make her a perfect addition to any family.
