Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Bear. She is 8 years old, 1/2 malamute and 1/2 german shepherd. She is spayed and up to date on shots.
She is sweet and gentle with people of all sizes (kids included) and dogs. She does have a high prey drive.
Bear needs a temporary foster home while her person is recovering from surgery. This is expected to be no more then 3 months, possibly less. It is also possible that recovery will not be good enough for her person to have her back at all. Where in, it may be possible to adopt her.
She would not do well in a home where she is left all alone most of the time. She gets lonely and howls. Having a dog friend would be a very good situation for her. This is enough to prevent the lonely howls.
She is good in the house, just a bit hiary. She very much likes affection.
