My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Raya, the radiant rescue cat with a heartwarming story of resilience and love. Pulled from a feral street colony just in time to save her kittens from the perils of passing cars, Raya has since blossomed into a sweetheart of a cat. After being spayed and showered with care, she now enjoys a life of luxury alongside her two over three-month-old kittens, reveling in the pleasures of being treated like royalty with an abundance of food, water, treats, and toys.

Despite her tumultuous beginnings, Raya has embraced her independence with grace, making her perfectly content to spend time alone while her human companions are away. However, she also treasures the companionship of her feline friends, having been quite popular in her colony for her friendly demeanor and affinity for snuggling with her fellow cats. A furry companion would surely make her life even more grand.

Adorned in beautiful tuxedo colors, Raya's unique charm is accentuated by a tail adorned with a burst at the end, believed to be a birth defect that only adds to her distinctive allure. Her kittens share this endearing trait, one of them even boasting a hook in his tail. Yet, it's these quirks that make Raya and her offspring stand out in a crowd.

Not one to shy away from new experiences, Raya has shown courage in the face of unfamiliar territory, fearlessly approaching a small dog in a nearby yard, while her kittens frolicked and played with their newfound friend. However, Raya's true calling lies in being a devoted companion, offering a loving and beautiful presence without overwhelming her humans with demands for attention.

Rest assured, Raya is more than just a pretty face; she's a fully vetted and prepared feline friend. FIXED, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas and parasites, she's litterbox trained and eagerly awaiting the opportunity to find her forever home, where she can continue to spread joy and warmth to those lucky enough to welcome her into their lives.

More about this rescue

Save Our Kitties Stockton is a non-profit organization, dedicated to improving and saving the lives of feral and stray cats. We focus on the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release).

This organization helps find new homes for both kittens and cats so they can live their best, healthiest lives. In our feral cat colonies sometimes we find cats that are not feral. Abandon/Stray cats are not alert and don't have survival skills as feral cats do, so we try to find them a safer environment. This is when we make them available for adoption.
