Meet Kim Pine! After her three littermates have been adopted, Kim is still looking for a family of her own. She is an absolutely stunning beauty (and she knows it)! Kim loves every toy on the planet and spends her day wrestling with her foster friends, chasing wand toys, and whacking around crinkle balls. When she's ready for a break, she curls up in a cat tree to recharge, preferably in a nice sunny spot. Kim can be scared of humans or loud noises and usually hides when is approached but is easily lured out with snacks or a moving toy. This girl is food obsessed and will willingly accept pets as long as she is getting something tasty.
While Kim finds humans pretty scary, she loves the company of other animals friends. She has met countless cats and several dogs during her time in foster and she always knows just how to befriend them. Kim is the perfect "cat for my cat" or an amazing cat for a dog household, too!
Kim needs a patient adopter, who can start her in a small space and gradually expand her world so she can gain confidence and continue to learn to trust people. Kim can be really shy when meeting new people and while she is not particularly cuddly, she will keep you giggling all day long with her shenanigans. Pull up a blanket and fall asleep and she just might sneak onto your lap!
Kim would do best being adopted along with another TCR cat, or into a home with another self-assured, welcoming young kitty who can help her continue to come out of her shell. She would do best in an adult-only home, or one with older, gentle, and cat-savvy kiddos. Kim has gotten along with every other cat and even a calm dog in foster care, and is doing well, with proper introductions.
Kim is about 2.5 years old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Do you have the time and patience to help this silly little gal continue to blossom? Please apply today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
