Meet Katie Bell, a black n white, 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel girl. She is spayed, microchipped, crate trained, and house trained. She was adopted at 6 months old by her lady owner from a vet office after she was brought in as an aggressive dog and the people wanted her euthanized. She was worked with, very loved and did well in this home. When the lady had a child, she got jealous and was snapping at the baby. She is heart worm negative; hernia repair has been done and vet care is current. This dog needs to be the only dog in your home.
Katie needs to be your only dog. She is aggressive to small dogs and does not like female dogs at all. She can be with children 12 and older but she is a dominant dog and needs to be your only dog in the home. No condos, apartments or townhomes as she does bark some. No dog doors and no invisible fencing. A securely fenced backyard is a must. When you first meet her, she will be scared but warms up fairly quick with patience. She is a sweet, friendly girl and will bond well to you. Loud noises scare her. If you are approved to adopt her, you must be willing to do vet care as we will discuss at meet and greet. She is not a dog you can take walking in public places, so no leash walking when other dogs are around is best. A place with few distractions is suggested for walks. She weighs about 29 pounds and has a grade 1 heart murmur but isn't on any medications.
