Two-year-old Archie may have spent his younger years on the streets, but he's figured out pretty quickly what he likes: affection. Whether accepting attention, or just allowing him to curl up next to his people, he adores getting the TLC he missed while living outdoors. He'll even accept brotherly love from other dogs, too, whether being kind or playful.
He is so great at home he doesn't need a crate, and he is also happy to ride along in the car when given the chance. He is disinterested in toys and his leash (but he's working on it), and he currently lives with cats and does great. He prefers not to bark - it's just not his style - making it just one part of his well-natured temperament. He would likely thrive in an environment with a yard or do well in an apartment where he can go for walks, and would become a sweet and loyal companion.
On the outside, Archie's color is a beautiful brindle, with sweet eyes and a big head. This shepherd/terrier mix has a curly tail that straightens out when he focuses intently on the task at hand. He's a healthy dog with a moderate energy level, and a few good-boy behaviors he wants to improve. But with a little love and attention, he's going to be a furry, fabulous friend to your family.
