My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're seeking a distant cat to simply observe, Mimi is not the one for you. Mimi is a charming little love-bug who demands attention. She's eager to be in the thick of things and craves as much affection as she can get. She adores being around people and purrs enthusiastically when cuddled. Born in May of 2023, Mimi is a medium-sized cat, neither too big nor too small – she's just perfect! This playful gal is always up for fun. Mimi is sociable, gets along well with other cats, and is friendly with dogs. She's ever-ready to "assist" with your household tasks or snuggle up with you for a nap. Mimi is a true princess in search of her castle.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
