Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Moose Tracks. I’m one of the 2 boys and 4 girls born in the ice cream litter on July 15. 2023. Our momma is Damica, a beautiful red tri Australian shepherd. We don’t know who our daddy is.
Mommy was found as a stray and we were a surprise for ASF. My brother and 3 of my sisters have been adopted. I am already one of the happiest puppies ever, but I’ll be even happier when I get to go live with my furever family.
My foster mom describes me as sweet, loving, and very mellow. I love to run and play with my siblings, but I’m also happy to wander off on my own and play by myself.
I have been around and held by lots of humans all my life. (My first foster mommy ran an adult daycare and we went to work with her every day and got lots of attention and love.) One of my favorite things is being outside. I love to dig holes and chew on things in the yard. I also love to catch toads and frogs when they are hopping around in the yard. I chase them down and catch them in my mouth and then run around the yard shaking my head really hard like I do a toy. They taste yucky so I spit them out pretty quickly, but I can spot them and catch them with the best of them.
I’m still working on potty training and leash walking and all of that. I’m just a baby, so my new family will have to be patient and continue to work with me and praise me when I’m a good boy.
I’ve had my second set of shots and I take medicine to keep nasty heartworms and fleas away. When I went to the vet the last time, I weighed 16.3 pounds. I also have a microchip to protect me.
When I’m old enough, I will need to be neutered. There will be a $50 neuter deposit required that will be refunded once proof of my neuter is received by ASF. If you think we’d be a perfect fit, please fill out an adoption application at australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application.
There is also a $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfers me to my new family. I'm being fostered in Grove City, PA. All adoption fees go to help other dogs like me.
