Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to little Emmy! Her foster family calls her Em. They love her little pouty boxer face & her beautiful markings. When Emmy first arrived at her foster home, she was originally scared and timid, but now she will engage to be petted, loved on, and held. Her best friend is the resident pup, Molly. They love to spend their evenings outside. Emmy and Molly are always on the hunt for adventure as Emmy is very curious about all things!
Emmy is working on potty training, she’s almost there, and her new family will need to have the patience to help get her across the finish line. She’s working on her crate training skills, and leash training as well. Emmy stays alone at her foster home for up to 8 hours while they are away at work during the day. She enjoys listening to music while they are gone and takes a nice long nap.
Emmy enjoys the company of other dogs, and will chase cats to play. She likes to harass them, yet is not aggressive with them. At her young age, we believe she can continue to live with cats if taught to play gently with them. She loves her squeaky toys and has a zest for life when it comes to play. She is learning the “sit”, “stay”, and “down” commands. Emmy would love a yard big enough to run around and play. Her foster states she is a sweet girl & when you look into her eyes, you can see she just wants to be loved!
