Hazel is a husky-mix and a Velcro dog through and through, she is my mothers dog. My mother had a stroke in July and Hazel was in Sicsa’s Safe pet program until we were sure that mom wouldn’t be able to recover enough to care for Hazel. The program ran out for Hazel and she is unsafe with my dogs and there are no friends or family that are able to take her in. She does well with cats, would be best with older kids because she is high energy and likes to jump. She’s very smart and can be trained to do just about anything, loves to be as close to you as she can be, and a great running partner. It breaks my heart that I can’t take her in and I am hoping that someone will be able to provide her with a loving furever home.
