Belle!
This lovely full figured lady is Belle.
Belle is an approx 5 yr old mini bernedoodle, although at the moment she is more ottoman shaped than "mini". She currently weighs about 53 lbs, but should be about 15-20 lbs less.
Belle came to us as a directly owner surrender when her family went through some significant trauma. It is clear how loved she was, despite their inability to care for her recently as she deserves.

Belle has happily lived with young kids and cats. She is friendly with other dogs, although she may initially bark in their faces, just for attention. Once she gets past the initial new friend jitters she is good with other dogs. She is also housebroken and crate trained. She does alarm bark at noises and as such would be best not living in an apartment. She is great in the car and is very friendly with all people. She is hoping for adopters that are willing to join her (or at least support her) on her weight loss journey.

Belle does have a history of UTIs and has bladder stones that are being addressed by our vet. She is currently on prescription food, which is recommended going forward and will go home with a large bag to get an adopter started, however this as well as regular grooming is an expense any adopter should be prepared for.

Belle is up to date on vet care, including recent bloodwork. She is spayed, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases.
