Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Notes from Wallaby`s previous foster: She is good with `heel` command where we stop at street corners until released by command. She is great with all human interaction.Wallaby is great riding in the car and automatically lays down so she is stable and comfortable. Her separation anxiety has been present from the beginning and I have tried to desensitize it starting with brief periods of time behind a door or the window. She has made some progress and doesn`t immediately start destructively chewing things. I got her a Kong and stuff it with peanut butter to occupy her for a little while, however it only lasts so long... I think she can get better over time and with practice.Wallaby is not a fan of being in a crate at all, so she just sleeps on her bed on the floor of my bedroom.
Wallaby has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. She`s a bit unsure and awkward in her play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll get more comfortable. She can be reactive to other dogs when she`s on leash or through a barrier. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match! Check out her playgroup video here:
