Everything's bigger in Texas! Meet Big Tex, a wiggly boy with a big heart of gold.

"He's a sweet goober who just wants love," says one of Tex's former fosters. "He loves to eat and play with balls, bones and ropes."

Big Tex loves people and thinks he's small enough to be a lap dog! He'll give you kisses in return for head scratches. This smart pup knows the "sit command, is house-trained and is content to sleep in his crate all night. Tex makes a perfect walking or jogging companion, as he's happy on a leash and loves exploring his neighborhood. When you're done walking, Tex relaxes in the sun or snoozes next to you while you work from home. He's very stressed out here at the shelter but thrives in a home.
