My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nitro is an 5 yr old poodle who weighs 14lbs. He needs a home with another dog. Nitro is great with other dogs. He enjoys toys, treats and playing. Nitro loves to follow you around throughout the house. He adores people and likes to be by his human. Nitro is working on house training and will need a consistent routine. He is learning the sit command and, with treats will have it down in no time.

Nitro is a sweet dog. He can be both energetic and lay with you while watching tv. Nitro typically attached to one personand becomes very protective of that person. If there is another person in the household, both people need to equally socialize with him so that he knows he has multiple owners. He is potty trained and needs to be on a schedule. He does well on a leash.

Nitro would be best with a one-owner home who works from home or is retired as he has some separation anxiety.

Apply to adopt the sweet Nitro at https://www.camorescue.com/adopt as he can't wait to be in his forever home!

Nitro's adoption fee is $300

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
