My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Philly. I've been told I am sassy, energetic, playful, goofy, and rambunctious. I don't know what that last one means, but I guess that's all true!

My favorite things are indestructible toys (especially giant, durable balls), snacking on filled and frozen bell peppers, and stealing the slip leads from silly unsuspecting humans. I am currently living at Big Barn where there are lots of butterflies to chase, and I love to get the zoomies around the pool house yard. We go for long walks and I like to pick up sticks as I go and make my handlers laugh. Exploring Big Barn on long trail walks is really fun, and I'd do well in a home with an active family and a big yard where I can run around and play fetch with you.

I'm told I am a pretty high energy girl, so it's best I am not around young children. As long as there are treats involved, then I am excited to learn! I've heard about this cool training called nosework and agility - I think learning that stuff would be pretty awesome, as sometimes I can get a little bored and I have a lot of energy to burn. I don't like sitting still, being alone, or playing with other dogs (sometimes they just can't keep up!). Get me in the right mood though, and I've been known to roll over for belly rubs and cuddle time.

Even though I love the trail walks at Big Barn and I am bonding with the incredible staff, I get a little stressed with shelter life. I need a patient owner who will give me the time, care, and attention to train me-I promise to always try my best and reward my future bestie with plenty of snuggles and playtime.

I am sure I'll be adopted soon, after all, who can resist a cute bottom pouty lip? Come meet me at Big Barn today!
