What do you get when you adopt a SMART dog? Why Ulysses of course!! This senior cattle dog may have an unmatched sense of humor, giant personality and the brains to go with them!
Easily learning new tricks, Ulysses has been a fixture in his foster home for a while now. Over time and with consistency, Ulysses has welcomed new friends into his life and has a wide repertoire of silly tricks to boot!
One of his volunteer friends tried to describe his belly rub pose. "Well, you see, he starts from the other side of the yard. Then does this sprint and slide thing like he's about to steal second so he's already lying down. Then he plants his front feet on your foot and starts pushing himself in circles. And you're like 'do you want a belly rub or what?' It's not always easy to tell! What a lovable weirdo!"
Ulysses is searching for an adult-only home where he can exercise both his body and mind. He'd love a backyard but could do well in certain apartment settings if he has regular walks. While he gets along with some well-matched dogs, his fosters believe he'll do best as the only dog in a home.
If you'd like to give this pup a home, please reach out. He's been waiting a long time for you!
