My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shea Butter is a sweet and spirited young dog who just loves life and is ready to share yours! She's a confident gal who is excited to meet new people and get her ears rubbed.

Shea also enjoys nose kisses and nuzzles, especially when she's sleepy. By the way, she thinks treats are yummy, too! (And can catch them...most of the time.)

This very sweet girl came to the shelter (and right into foster) around 2 months old after a trauma made her incontinent and unable to use her hind legs. She took to her first set of wheels within moments and hasn't stopped zooming since - except when she's ready for a nap.

Shea is carefree and adventurous, interested in checking everything out, and appreciates the outdoors. She thoroughly enjoys mealtimes (she'll make sure you know when it's dinnertime), speeding around in her wheels, and hardcore naps. Her favorite thing? That's a toss-up between chew toys and playing with her foster sibs.

Shea Butter will love a home with pet parents who understand her medical needs but still treat her like any other pup. She'll be a great wheelie exercise buddy and will enjoy doggie housemates.

Contact her fosters to meet this smart, lovable girl today! She's available for foster or adoption.
