My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walker is a goofy and silly senior with an unmatched love for stuffies! This low energy boy is happy to spend his days napping, looking out the window for the postal carrier, and rolling in the grass. Equally happy entertaining himself alone or hanging out with his people, Walker has no issues being left alone all day to free roam. Fully housetrained and with no anxious or destructive behaviors, he's ready to slide into your life with ease!

Even though he's content resting most of the time, he's super excited to show off his stuffy collection! Ask Walker, "Where's your stuffie? and watch as he runs to pick one from his pile and brings it over to show it off, hoping you'll try to take it (but really hoping you'll let him win!). Despite his playful growls and loud, excitable barking welcoming you home, Walker is quite gentle, especially when it comes to taking treats, which he takes very delicately using his tiny front teeth. He's also happy to earn treats by showing off his skills with sitting and shaking.

Walker has mild arthritis in his back which is managed with daily medication that he takes without protest. Because of his back pain, it's important that everyone in the household respect his space when he's having bad pain days. No children for this distinguished gentleman, but he gets along well with other dogs who can respect his occasional need for space. Walker is happy to do a meet and greet to find out if he'll get along with any dogs you may currently have.

If you're looking for an easy and affectionate companion, look no further than this handsome boy! You can find more photos and funny stories about Walker on his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100095288003213
