Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a classic, goofy husky who's non-destructive and quiet when left alone? Neo might be your perfect match! This big, lovable guy needs a home that understands the husky breed and can meet his needs around energy, anxiety, and boundaries. As a true working dog, Neo needs daily exercise-he'd love to be walked at least twice a day to burn off all that husky energy, and he absolutely *loves* fetch!
Like many huskies, Neo can be a bit mouthy when he's excited or playing, so he'll need someone to help him channel that into a toy, especially during playtime. With enough exercise, Neo will happily snooze the day away. His ideal home would be low-traffic, with limited visitors and possibly a well-matched dog friend to keep him company.
Neo's recent sleepover experience showed what a great apartment dog he can be. His sitter, who works full-time, left him alone for about four hours in the morning and afternoon with a midday break. Neo surprised her by being the perfect guest: he slept most of the day, quietly entertained himself, and even watched cartoons like *Bluey!* Although he isn't crate-trained, he's non-destructive and calm, so you can leave him worry-free (just walk him before you go).
Though he's a little wary of new people and may feel anxious around strangers in his space, a slow approach and a quiet spot to retreat to help him relax. With a bit of time, Neo is sure to settle right in and feel comfortable enough to sleep nearby.
Neo's goofiness and sweet nature are bound to win you over! After over a year in the shelter, he's ready to cuddle up with someone who can offer him the safe, loving home he deserves. A secure yard for fetch would be his dream come true! Neo will keep you laughing and fill your home with his charming, gentle personality.
