Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Long, curious, and active
Counting Cats is a very long, orange tabby boy who is curious about people. He loves being in the same room where his people are! He may be a little cautious at first, but is still intent on being around people -- even little humans! He will observe the toddler in his foster home from a distance and follow her around. She's fascinating to him!
Counting Cats enjoys pushing toys around the floor and playing with other cats. With a proper introduction to get acclimated, soon he was enjoying the company of the other cats in his foster home -- they play together, eat next to each other (sometimes from the same bowl at the same time), and sleep together. He gets zoomies nightly and ends his zoomies at the foot of his humans' bed.
Counting Cats would do great in a home with another nice cat and a patient adopter who can nurture a loving relationship with him, understanding that his shyness and quirkiness are what make him fabulous! This is a cat you can count on to be your beloved companion - contact us today!
Counting Cats has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Counting Cats can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
