Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I have had Pitarrilla since she was a puppy. She is a registered Charcoal (dilute black) lab. Unfortunately she came from a bad breeder and suffer from bad hips and a bad elbow but that doesn’t slow her down. She takes pain medicine which costs about $75/month that keeps her going so she doesn’t necessarily need the expensive surgery that some suggest but she does need to lose some weight to help ease the burden on her joints to help her live a longer life. Pita and I have been through a lot and are now facing even tougher times. My husband is a Desert Storm vet and his PTSD is aggravated at times by Pita’s need for attention. I am in desperate need for someone to take and love my baby & give her the life she so deserves. She would be best in a home where she’s the only dog but she will tolerate small dogs better than larger ones. She craves attention, playing in the water and laying in the sun. Please contact me if you can help.
